2012 Bragg Creek Bears Hockey Banquet! Sunday March 25th from 4:00-7:00p.m. at the BCCA.
We will be celebrating the end of another successful hockey season! Please make sure you hand in your hockey jersey at this time to Jane Boyce who will take them in to be dry cleaned. Please remove your players name bar prior to handing in. Jersey deposit checks will be handed back at this time. Anyone who has lost their jersey will not get their jersey deposit cheque back. Bragg Creek Bears Spirit AwardThis year at the banquet Bragg Creek Hockey is pleased to recognize one player from each team (Tyke, Novice 1 and 2, Atoms, and Bantams) with an additional award for best demonstrating the spirit of Foothills Pond Hockey which includes: Good Sportsmanlike conduct; A positive and supportive attitude in hockey; Good team member; Consistent attendance to practices and games.

BIG MOUNTAIN COFFEE DEMPSTERS | Master Site Plan Development for the Bragg Creek Community Center is now underway!The Master Site Development Plan Committee (MSDPC) headed by Robert Sadee (Rocky View Recreation Board member) with committee members Mike Medwid (Rocky View Recreation board member), Mike Wattam (Professional Accountant, treasurer, director on the BCCA board), Candace Perko (Professional Accountant representing Bragg Creek Tennis), Carmen Ryan (MBA in Research Strategies representing "The Little School House" and Redwood Meadows community), Stella (BCCA board director with expertise in environmental development with an interest in Community Gardens), and Michelle Shewchuk (BCCA board director representing Bragg Creek Hockey) was started in September 2011 and has been approved by the BCCA to work towards the creation of a Master Site Plan Development that will better accommodate our Community's recreational and special user group needs now and in the future taking an environmentally sensitive and economically sustainable approach.
The MSPDC is pleased to announce that, working in collaboration with the BCCA on a grant application, the BCCA was granted funds from the Rocky View Recreation Board to hire a local professional Architect to develop our community's Master Site Plan which will include conceptual plans and drawings. A community survey and several open houses will be initiated upon completion of the conceptual work in order to obtain valuable community feedback and input.
